Homes for Prisoner's Children -  Boys

SNEHADEEPAM, INCHIYANI (1994)
It is the first home for boys whose parents are incarcerated. Established in 1994 in Kanjirappilly, Kerala, it is managed by the Holy Spirit Sisters and was founded as a gift to PMI by Bishop Jose Pulickal.

This is a home for prisoner's children under the care of Mercedarians fathers- Order of Our Lady of Mercy.

KOLBE HOME, BANGALORE (2015)
Kolbe Home established in 2015, supports the education and well-being of prisoners’ sons. It is overseen by the PMI National Office at Thomas Layout, Carmelaram, and managed by the Satya Seva Catechist Sisters (SCS). In 2025, Kolbe Home marks its 10th anniversary with several celebratory events.

ST. ANTONY'S HOME, KANKAVALI (2021)
St Antony’s Home was inaugurated on 1 May 2021 by Most Rev Anthony Alwyn Fernandes Barreto, Bishop of Sindhudurg. It provides residential care, education, and support to boys affected by parental imprisonment.

KARUNYASHARM, ERNAKULUM (1999)
Karunyashram is a home caring for girls of incarcerated parents, founded on 8 January 1999 in Thrikkakkara, Kochi. It is run by the Sisters of the Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament (SABS).

PREMODAYA, BANGALORE (2001)
Premodaya supports girls of prisoners at St. Francis Xavier’s Cathedral, St John’s Church Road, Bangalore. The home is under the care of the Sisters of St. Anne’s (Chennai).

Jeevan Jyothy is managed by the Augustinian Sisters and provides shelter and support to girls with incarcerated parents.

Marie Pushpan's established in 2017 in Ranchi, Jharkhand, is directed by the Dominican Sisters (OP) and cares for girls of prison-affected families.

ASHA KIRAN, RANCHI
​Asha Kiran is a home for prisoners’ children and child victims of human trafficking child labor and rape cases administered by the Ursuline Sisters.

KOLBE HOME, PATAN (2017)
Kolbe Home was established under the Archdiocese of Gandhinagar through the initiative of Most Rev. Thomas Macwan and Fr. Dominic. The Salesian Missionaries of Mary Immaculate (SMMI) Sisters manage the home. On 2 May 2025, with assistance from PMI National Office, the home acquired a van to transport the girls to school.

HOLY CHILD HOME, RANAGHAT
Holy Child Home in West Bengal is under the Sisters of Charity. Currently, 43 girls are enrolled in education programs overseen by Sr. Alisha SCCG, the state coordinator for PMI West Bengal.
